Grade Updates for English 101 and Gen 105

I now have an A in both of my classes. My English A percentage is 97.50% and my Gen 105 Grade A percentage is 98.64%. I can't believe I am getting A's in college, that is pretty amazing. I just did not think I would do this well. we are now almost at the end of our second week of classes. I can't believe how fast the first two weeks have goone for these classes. I am enjoying school very much. I really have enjoyed Gen 105 the most. I think because that class Instructor is just so much more different and really tells you how great your assignments are.

Today while I was ato work I worked on my assignments in the fitting room while I was answering the phones and I got everything done and ready for posting when I got home. I came upstairss and started typing fast since I had to beat the cut off deadline before my assignment was late. I beat the cut off time by 20 minutes!

Elevator Speech Score

today I recieved feedback from my Gen 105 instructor on my Elevator Speech. I got 70/70 points for the assignment. I am just so excited. I added up the points I have recieved on all of my assignments for that class and then divided it by the points possible, I have a 98.64% which is an A. I am so excited about this class, because I am doing really well in it.

I also had a piano lesson today, it was so nice to have a lesson. Ms.Pike and I went over the song I am learning for the performance with david. I am half way through the song. I only have four more pages to learn. the song is very easy so it won't take me any time at all to get the last 4 pages down. I can't believe how much I have going. I have so much going on, School, Work, Practice the piano, and do homework for school. I also may be thinking about learning how to drive through online course instruction. if I have that then I will be very busy. that is going to be a little bit down the road in the future.

Long Day

today I did not feel good so it made for a long day. after my lunch I started feeling better. I think I probably needed to eat something. well my classes are going good. I did have a dilemma about an assignment for a class but I got it all handeled and figured out. in my English Class I have an A- and my other class I am not really sure yet. I did my Elevator Speech and I am so dying to know what I got on it. the Elevator speech was 70 points. I hope by tomorrow I will have an email with my score on the Speech. I am way excited for my piano lesson tomorrow. I can't wait! well I will update you on how my assignment turned out that I need to get completed for English tomorrow.

1 More work day and then my weekend begins!!!!

I can't wait until tomorrow since tomorrow is my friday. I am so excited for my piano lesson on Wednesday. I feel like it has been a month since I have had a piano lesson. it probably just seems that long with everything I have had going on this past week with starting school and everything. on wednesdaqy I have an assignment due and thursday I can't remember. thankgoodness I have a calander that tells when my assignments are due and for what class and what day. I am now starting to order my textbooks. my first one should be here any time and then my next schlew of books I am going to order after thursday since that is when I will get paid. after I grt my books then I will for sure start using my backpack to take everywhere, especially to my piano lessons on Wednesdays. I do also have a brief case on wheels that I am going to use this week to take to cottonwood since I can fit both my piano books and my school stuff in it, then I will only have one bag and my purse instead of two bags and my purse. I will update again tomorrow.

Men's Department/Elevator Speech

Today the Mens Department was pretty busy. there was so much that needed to be done. I did everything that was there and then was in the fitting rooms for about an hour. it was nice to be able to sit for a little bit because I was going non stop! I was surprised that there was so much to do in the mens department. The mens department is usually dead and there is usually nothing to do, it is a good sign that things are starting to pick up now because that means I will continue to get 40 hours a week! hopefully some daytime shifts will be coming up in the next few weeks.

I have officially completed my first week of college. I just submitted my final assignment for this week for my Gen 105 class. The assignment was the Elevator Speech. that assignment is worth a lot of points so I am kind of nervous about the grade I will get on it. I hope I do not loose much more than 10 because the assignment is worth 70 points, if I even loose any points on it at all. now I just have to work on my next assignment for English that is due in a couple of days. I can't believe I have survived my first week of college! next week I have to start buying my school books, I just hope I get paid soon because I need them for one of my upcoming assignments this week. when I find out what I got on my Elevator Speech I will post my score on here.

In the Fitting Rooms

today I was in the fitting rooms from about 6:15 until 10:30 and I was able to work on my elevator speech for tomorrow that is due for one of my classes. I think I am pretty much done with it. I may need to reword some of my stuff and then post it on the internet on my class website. I was so glad I was in the fitting rooms tonight since I had to work on my speech and get it done. it gave me the oportunity to actually get it done and not still have it left to do.

English Assignment for college

Today the assignment I did for English took all day to do. there were some questiont that I just did my best on to answer. I did communicate with my Instructor and he said I could redo my assignment if I wanted and I could turn it in tomorrow. I may still do that since I am not sure if I answered the last two questions right.

My other class is going well. I have what is called an Elevator Speech that is due on Sunday. what an elevator speech is is a scenario where I have to pretend I am telling a friend how the Axia College works. I have to talk about how the forums work, threaded discussion, Asyncronous Communication and Feedback. I watched a clip that showed an example of what a student said for their elevator speech. Tomorrow on my lunch break I am going to start working on my elevator speech, then when I get home I can finish it or add more to it.

For the next few days I have nothing due for any of my classes. I still do have to go in the classroom and "Check In" for Attendance. if we as students do not check in and we miss three whole weeks of the course we will be dropped from the class. I have already started on week Two's Assignments for a few of the days that were fast and simple ones that are what is called a Discussion Question. What a discussion question is is a question that all of the students have to post their answers to and then we can also reply to other students post wither we agree with it or we don't and we have to give an explanation for our answer, we do not get credit for just saying "I agree" or "I do not agree" because it does not explain what you agree or disagree about.

since my assignments are all done I think I may go work on my Elevator Speech and heat up some leftovers from the other night. I will post tomorrow when I get home from work tomorrow.

Assignments for College

Today I have been working on my assignments and I am still caught up. I have an Assignment for English that I have to still do and turn in today but I have been taking some breaks because a person can only sit at a computer for so long. I just have to keep getting up and like walking around and stuff like that bnecause my legs get tired of just sitting. When I first read the assignment I had no clue what the Assignment for English was even talking about that needed to be done but then my mom and I figured it out. I have to choose an essay topic for my essay that is due at the end of the term and then I have to explain some stuff about my topic. then I am going to work on my assignments for thursday that are due on that day.

I will update more tonight when I am all done with my assignments.

Steady Work Day

Today was a nice day it was not too busy or too slow it was a Happy Medium day. I really enjoyed today because of how nice it was and yet there was stuff that still needed to be done in the departments.

I have also been taking my school work to work with me and studying it and going over it while I am on my 15 minute breaks or while I am on my lunch breaks. so far I have stayed caught up on all of my work and will be ready to turn in two of my assignments tomorrow. one is an essay and the other is a simple assignment. the simple assignment I already finished and the essay is the only thing I need to work on tomorrow. then I just have to post them before midnight tomorrow before they are counted late. tomorrow when I get my essay done I will write about how it turned out. I should know by the end of the week what I have received as a grade so far on my assignments.

Very Slow Day at work

Today was so slow I thought the day was never going to end. I was so glad when it finally reached 10:30 because that was when I got to leave tonight. I came home and started working on my assignment for one of my classes that was due by tomorrow at Mid-Night. I turned it in at 12:15 a.m. today (Tuesday) which means it is early which is a good thing because I may not have time to work on it tomorrow. now I am going to work on my next assignments for my classes tomorrow on my lunch break that are both due on Wednesday. I will update tomorrow after I get home again.
