Happy Birthday to..........

a week ago we had a fun birthday celebration for Joanne with our family and then a lot of her friends from church, work and abroad. we all had such a great time! and it was on a day where I worked until 5:00 and I was so excited to be able to be there too!!! it was so nice to see all the people there at that party that I had not seen in a while, plus to visit with everyone and catch up was great! Joanne turned 48 years young on March 16th!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!!!

Also yesterday two special birthdays were celebrated. these are two little kids who were both born with HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome). Gracie was born on March 20, 2008 and would have been two years old yesterday. she had a heart transplant 28 days before her 1st birthday in 2009 and her body rejected her heart 18 days before her 1st birthday. she passed away on March 2, 2009



the next birthday that was celebrated was Grant who also has HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome) He was born one year to the day after gracie was born. he was born March 20, 2009. he is such a sweet little boy. he Just celebrated his first birthday yesterday. you can follow his story at http://grantmeaheart.blogspot.com
